Preston Engineering and Construction, LLC was founded in December 2013. The owner’s background is in civil engineering, custom residential construction, and waterfront development. After working as a professional engineer for private and public firms we decided it was time to launch Preston Engineering and Construction, LLC in late 2013. Our sole purpose is to be grateful stewards of the livelihood with which our Creator has afforded us. This means treating others as we desire to be treated and diligently counting the cost in all that we say, do, and especially in how we conduct business and cultivate relationships.

What Makes Us Different?

We provide in-house engineering and construction management for any project without having to hire a third party for engineering design in most cases. We understand the way a structure is designed and why it is designed a certain way. This allows us to provide valued engineering insight to save the client money vs just going with what the third party engineer / architect is recommending to a client.  Understanding the civil layout on a custom home is critical in ensuring the finished product performs well in inclement weather and compliments the landscape plan. Our civil engineering capabilities enable us to analyze the project site, prior to construction. This will reduce risks for problems and additional costs once construction is underway.

We have developed a process that keeps our clients involved and informed throughout the design and construction process. It allows for a smooth transition once the owner takes occupancy of the property. Our communication process helps minimize the costs incurred by change orders at the end of a project. It is our goal to work with the client to keep them informed on cost impacts that may arise from changes during the project.
